YBAA being a Budget Advocacy arm of the organization seeks to engage young people interested in Budget advocacy work.

Uganda Youth Network is therefore seeking services of an eligible firm to do an audio visual documentation in the districts of Soroti, Arua and Yumbe.The documentary should clearly bring out the potentials of the district and how local and national actors can support the youth meaningfully.

A proposal of interest and demonstration of capability should therefore be submitted by an eligible firm duly registered legally with authorities showing evidence of past experience in undertaking similar assignments and well prepared by the bidders. Expression of interest call to provide technical support to the Youth councilors involved in public expenditure tracking

 The idea of a technical support emerged as a result of the previously concluded trainings which broadly highlighted capacity gaps identified among the youth councilors especially in monitoring public expenditure/budget and little knowledge on the existence and functionality of the government programs within the district. This therefore deems it necessary to engage a technical person to provide support to councilors and member organizations engaged in public expenditure tracking processes.

The overall objective of the support is to promote greater accountability of policy makers and political leaders at district and national level to the rights and development concerns and priorities of the youth and to ensure more collective, sustainable efforts are taken to enhance accountability to young people by duty bearers.
