YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS CAPACITY BUILDING

YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS CAPACITY BUILDING

Initially, membership to Uganda Youth Network was open to all individual youth civil society organizations and networks that could subscribe to the network’s constitution and core values. However, during the 2013 constitutional amendment, the membership model changed from individual organizations to networks organizations. This was aimed at expanding the reach for the network’s programme interventions. The membership has drastically increased from the formerly 48 individual organizations to over 157 organizations in 2016 clustered in 31 network organizations across the country.

UYONET  has over the years  developed capacity for its organizations in, ideological orientation and sensitization trainings, policy analysis and advocacy campaigns organizing,

We have also provided support in resource mobilization and sustainable financing  and trained organizations in  Monitoring and Evaluation, Finance and Administration, institutional mentorship and coaching, human resource management and Programme quality amongst others.

The  different institutions have been able to  grow as a result of our training.
