Victor Bigirwa--Accountant

Victor holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree of Makerere University and is both a student of ACCA and a finalist for a Masters Degree in Business administration of Uganda Martyrs University- Nkozi.

Victor Bigirwa is skills oriented, robust and self driven and has vast experience in NGO accounting, finance policy development and professional proficiency in management. He was appointed as the Accountant of Uganda Youth Network in 2010.

Holds a Bachelor Of Business Studies (Accounting) of Kyambogo University and is currently a pursuing a certification at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Uganda (ICPAU). The highly skilled, hardworking and self-driven Accountant joined UYONET having been appointed Accounts Assistant in February 2014.

Ali is a dynamic youth activist with over 4 years of experience being at the forefront in the promotion of pro-poor values, gender equality, good governance and social justice in Uganda. 

He who also doubles as UYONET's Gender focal point person brings to UYONET eminent skills in leadership, ICT and Business facilitation, Blogging and social media training/advocacy, research, Public Relation, Resource Mobilization and the ability to read and write in Braille and use sign language for the Blind and the Deaf respectively.

Peniel Rwendeire Serves as the Program Assistant at the Uganda Youth Network under the Democratic Governance Component where he has successfully implemented and managed four successful projects with funding from Oxfam, DGF, World Vision-Uganda and Crossing Borders-Denmark.

Sam holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts with Education from Makerere University Kampala, a Certificate in Counseling and Child Psychotherapy from the Institute of Advanced Leadership, a Certificate in Coaching from Institute of Leadership and Management and a Certificate in Basic Training Skills (TOT) by British Council.

Sam, a highly committed, self driven and a servant leader, is proficient in programme management with 6 years experience in civic engagement, organisational development, youth programming and governance. He joined UYONET as a Volunteer in 2007, later appointed Project Officer, Programme Assistant and is currently a Programme Officer.

Timothy Muhereza--Program Officer, Niyetu Youth Program

Timothy is a Project management and M&E Specialist with 9 years of Result Oriented methodology experience working with underprivileged, underserved, insecurity affected and youth population in Peace building, empowerment, TB, HIV and AIDS, population, reproductive health, malaria, climate change, agriculture, gender mainstreaming and integration, Orphans and other Vulnerable Children (OVC), advocacy, private/public partnerships, capacity building and community development.

Jane Nakawesi--Program Officer, Niyetu Youth Program

Having worked in the development sector for the last 10 years, Jane possesses great passion, skills and experience working with young people.

She has worked both at National and International levels having taken on roles with VSO-JITOLEE- as a fundraising and Advocacy Advisor in Kenya, Action Aid-Malawi- as a Human Rights Based Approach Inspirator and Currently at Uganda Youth Network- as a Project Officer.

Allen holds a Bachelors in social sciences majoring in Gender and Social development and; minoring in Social Works and Social Administration from Makerere University Kampala. She also holds a certificate in computer applications skills from the same institute. Allen holds three certificates from MS-Training Center for Development CO-operation Arusha Tanzania in Gender Responsive Public Service Delivery, Gender Women’s Rights and Governance and Human Rights Based Approach.

Ritah Twikirize--IT Assistant

Ritah TwikirizeIT Assistant

Holds a Bachelors degree in Computer and Information Technology from Kyambogo University Kampala. She joined UYONET in October 2016 as an IT Assistant. Ritah has previously worked in financial institutions like Mcash Uganda Limited and Centenary Bank.
